Terms of Service

Last updated: July 5, 2026

Agreeing to these terms

By creating a No Worries account or using the No Worries app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What No Worries is

No Worries is an audio-based child safety service. A monitor device placed in your home streams audio to our servers, where it is analyzed for sounds that may matter to you, such as crying or raised voices. When something is detected, the parent device receives an alert. The service also stores recent recordings so you can review what happened.

Your account and your home

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials private. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • The person who creates a home is its owner. Owners can invite other members, such as a co-parent, to share access to the home's monitoring, alerts, and recordings.
  • Deleting the owner's account permanently deletes the home, its recordings, and its history for every member.

Subscriptions and trials

  • New accounts include a free trial. When the trial ends, an active subscription is required to continue monitoring and receiving alerts.
  • Subscriptions purchased inside the mobile app are billed and managed through the app store on your device, under its payment terms. Cancel any time from your app store subscription settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Prices may change. We will notify you before a price change affects your subscription.

Recording laws and consent

Audio recording is regulated, and the rules differ by country and state. You are responsible for using No Worries lawfully in your location, including telling caregivers and other adults in your home that audio monitoring is in use and obtaining consent where the law requires it. Our overview of recording laws is a starting point, not legal advice.

A safety service, not a safety guarantee

  • No Worries is not an emergency service, a medical device, or a life-safety system. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number.
  • No Worries does not replace adult supervision. It is a tool that helps you stay aware, not a substitute for a responsible caregiver being present.
  • Sound detection is probabilistic. Alerts can be missed, delayed, or triggered by sounds that turn out to be harmless, and connectivity issues on either device can interrupt monitoring.

Acceptable use

  • Use the service only to monitor spaces you have the legal right to monitor.
  • Do not attempt to access other users' homes, data, or recordings.
  • Do not reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the service.

Your recordings

Recordings from your home belong to you. You give us permission to process and store them only as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account, including all recordings, at any time from the app's settings.

Ending the service

You can stop using No Worries and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or use the service unlawfully. We may also change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, No Worries is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for harm arising from missed, delayed, or inaccurate alerts. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects consumer rights that your local law grants you.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
