Privacy Policy

The No Worries app

When you use the No Worries app, we collect and process:

• Account information. Your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from them.
• Audio from your monitor device. While monitoring is active, the monitor device streams audio to our servers, where an automated sound classifier detects events such as crying or raised voices. Recent recordings are stored so you can review and replay them in the app.
• Alerts and summaries. We store the alerts generated from your audio, along with daily activity summaries derived from them.
• Device and notification data. Device names, connection status, and push notification tokens, so alerts reach the right phone.
• Diagnostics. Crash reports and error logs that help us fix problems. These do not include your recordings.

How your audio is handled

• Audio travels over encrypted connections and is kept in private storage that only members of your home can access through the app.
• Classification is fully automated. No person listens to your audio to provide the service.
• Your recordings are never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to train models for other purposes.
• Recordings made in your home may include children's voices. Only the adults who share access to your home can hear them, and the home's owner can delete all of it at any time.

Retention and deletion

• Stored recordings are deleted automatically 30 days after they are made.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. Deleting the account of a home's owner permanently removes the account, the home, all recordings, alerts, and history for every member of that home.
• You can also email us at the address below to request deletion.

What we collect on this website

• Waitlist submissions. When you fill out the waitlist form, we collect your name, email address, and any other fields you complete. This data is processed by Formspree and stored securely.
• Anonymous visit data. When you visit the site, a random ID is stored in your browser's local storage. This ID is not linked to your name or email. We use it to understand how visitors navigate the site (which pages are viewed, which buttons are clicked).
• Basic analytics. We collect your approximate country and city (derived from your IP address) and the page you're viewing. We do not store your IP address.

How we use it

We use waitlist submissions to contact you about early access and product updates. We use anonymous visit data solely to improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

• Formspree processes our contact and waitlist forms. Your submission data is stored on their servers under their privacy policy.
• Vercel hosts this site and provides privacy-friendly analytics. Vercel does not use cookies for analytics and does not share data with advertisers.
• Google Fonts serves the typeface used on this site from Google's CDN. Google may log your IP address when loading fonts.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. We store a single anonymous random ID in your browser's local storage to recognize returning visitors for analytics purposes. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Your rights

You can request deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time. To do so, email us at the address below. If you submitted your email through our waitlist and want it removed, we will delete it promptly.
