Privacy Policy

The No Worries app

When you use the No Worries app, we collect and process:

• Account information. Your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from them.
• Audio from your monitor device. While monitoring is active, the monitor device streams audio to our servers, where an automated sound classifier detects events such as crying or raised voices. Recent recordings are stored so you can review and replay them in the app.
• Alerts and summaries. We store the alerts generated from your audio, along with daily activity summaries derived from them.
• Device and notification data. Device names, connection status, and push notification tokens, so alerts reach the right phone.
• Diagnostics. Crash reports and error logs that help us fix problems. These do not include your recordings.

How your audio is handled

• Audio travels over encrypted connections and is kept in private storage that only members of your home can access through the app.
• Classification is fully automated. No person listens to your audio to provide the service.
• Your recordings are never used for advertising and never sold. After 30 days they may be archived and used only for research on child development and to improve No Worries, as described under Retention and deletion below.
• Recordings made in your home may include children's voices. Only the adults who share access to your home can hear them in the app, and the home's owner can delete all of it, including archived copies, at any time.

Retention and deletion

• Stored recordings are available in the app for 30 days after they are made. After that they may be archived rather than deleted. Archived recordings are kept in private storage, may be used for research on child development and to improve our product and service, and are never sold or used for advertising.
• Website analytics events, including visits, clicks, campaign labels and approximate location, are deleted automatically 12 months after they are recorded.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. Deleting the account of a home's owner permanently removes the account, the home, all recordings including archived copies, alerts, and history for every member of that home.
• You can also email us at the address below to request deletion.

What we collect on this website

• Waitlist submissions. When you fill out the waitlist form, we collect your name, email address, and any other fields you complete. This data is stored securely in our own database.
• Anonymous visit data. When you visit the site, a random ID is stored in your browser's local storage. This ID is not linked to your name or email. We use it to understand how visitors navigate the site (which pages are viewed, which buttons are clicked).
• Basic analytics. If you accept analytics, we store visit and click events in our database to understand site use and aggregate campaign performance. Each event records the page viewed, the referring site, campaign labels in the URL when present, advertising click IDs such as fbclid or gclid, an App Store campaign token when provided, whether you're on mobile or desktop, and an approximate location (city, region and country) that our hosting provider derives from your IP address. These records are tied only to the random ID above, never to your name or email. We do not store your IP address itself, and we never collect precise or device-level location.

How we use it

We use your account email to send you marketing emails from No Worries, which you can stop at any time with the unsubscribe link in any of them. We use waitlist submissions to contact you about early access and product updates. We use anonymous visit data to improve the site and understand aggregate campaign performance. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

• Vercel hosts this site and provides privacy-friendly analytics. Vercel does not use cookies for analytics and does not share data with advertisers.
• Supabase stores our waitlist signups and the anonymous visit and click events described above.
• Resend delivers the notification email we receive when you join the waitlist. Your address is used only to send that notification.
• Cloudflare Turnstile may run a privacy-preserving check on the waitlist form to keep automated spam out. It does not use advertising cookies.
• Google Fonts serves the typeface used on this site from Google's CDN. Google may log your IP address when loading fonts.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies. If you accept analytics, we store a random visitor ID in local storage and campaign labels and advertising click IDs from a tagged link in session storage for the current browser session. These values support first-party site analytics and campaign reporting. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy choices button. You can also clear these values by clearing your browser's site data.

Your rights

You can request deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time. To do so, email us at the address below. If you submitted your email through our waitlist and want it removed, we will delete it promptly.
